With the release of Vienna Beta, how promising are you finding it? Whilst marketing has been focussing on it's multi-touch support, are you personally interested in this or are you simply more interested in the promised better OS with full compatability with all existing software and hardware? Are you just eager to discover the new Windows shell? Have you purchased Vista and are vexed by the release of Seven not knowing whether to stick with Vista or upgrade?

Pointless. It's just a beefed-up Vista rehash that doesn't offer anything new to the market. Practical computing went out the window years ago, and "innovative" new operating systems are just proving the validity of Wirth's Law with excessive bloat and eye-candy.

Pic related. If you want practical computing, then stick with Unix derivatives. (not that OS X shit, either)

cool picture but win7 is actually 100x better than vista. when it comes to an environment that isn't a server then windows is just dandy. i agree that macos is shit though.
