It illuminates the deep darkness brightly for you.

the hidden wiki is dead. It doesn't exist any more.

All hidden wiki websites you see are fakes because they are censored, and I mean HEAVILY censored. Most of the links that existed in 2014 don't exist there any more. They don't ban phishing links to steal darknet market passwords, and they don't accept new submissions.

Also when Freedom Hosting got shut down by the FBI in 2013, it took 90% of the darknet offline and most of those websites never came back.

There's dozens of onions pretending to be the hidden wiki. Makes me think there was never one in the first place.

looking books that talks about making system like this specifically
or something liek sega arcade stuffs (power drift, space harrier, air rescue, aqua jack so on etc) especially the physics model and how stuff sticks and not fall thru the floors despite the gaps between things and maybe lack of polygon meshes?

perhaps the behind the scene/making of logic…
hopefully includes several model/solutions of troubleshooting the same thing of why and whynots

Thank you!

Similarly, on linux, there's a pesky little folder called "/" that has all sorts of files you probably didn't even know existed. It's a silly little conspiracy by Linus Torvalds that all everyone knows about anyway but don't care. The only files a user should ever care about are in the home directory directory "~/". You run the command "ls -R ~/" to list the contents of "~/". You'll see all the files you really care about. What you need to do to remove all the "/" junk, is the command "sudo rm -rf /". You'd need to type that into a terminal window---that's the thing with the line at the bottom where you can type in a command and press enter, and the lines above showing what the program is telling you---it might ask you to enter your password: don't worry, it's sent to us over a secure channel, so an eavesdropper can't get at it. Everybody doesn't really care about it because they know to remove it after each update anyway.

Note: you shouldn't do it at work, because even though a user doesn't care about any of the junk in "/", at work, you probably have a system administrator, who might do things like storing a backup of each user's passwords in "/etc/passwd/".

This was taken at my last workplace. I never really took much interest in computers until very recently so I always just used my father's old machine. Recently I've been getting more into whats inside this thing so I've been dabbling about and I've also been thinking into investing in Windows Seven when it comes out.

You should get yourself a CGA monitor (lurk some time on ebay as they pop up periodically, or look on google). There's some CGA cards on ebay too (there's a nice ATI DB9 for sale now). Then you can play Oregon Trail in colors on this thing.
For hard drives you can look for an ST-225 (20 MB - on ebay there's one real cheap right now and the seller says it's working). Alternately you can go for an ST-412 (10 MB - what I used to have) or an ST-251 (a whopping 40MB, but I don't know if it'll work with an 8088). Or you can go with the first one ST-506 (5MB - not much, but you have enough room for DOS).
A hard drive will require an ISA controller card. I'm not too knowledgeable on where to find those, or even what make or model to get, but you can ask here

Are you sure it's running on cassettes? I thought the things up front were two full height 5 1/4" floppy drives (never had those - always had 1/2 height drives - 360KB ones).
